Notes |
The dating and the localisation proposed by Bischoff (Kat. §4984) for these folios, which contain works by Aldhelm and related scholia, are very similar to those suggested for the first codicological unit (fols 1–55) of Lat. 16700: third (or fourth) quarter of the ninth century, possibly near Brittany. However, these indications remain to be tested, especially through a detailed palaeographical assessment. |
