Notes |
A Breton origin is indicated in Bill 1972: 61, ASM §520.4, and OHLP 257. Given the remarkable number of copies of the Collectio Canonum Hibernensis produced in Early Medieval Brittany, this ascription is certainly plausible (cf. Dumville 1984b: 216, n. 46), although presently unconfirmed. Dumville (1994: 88) has suggested that this 'might have been a complete copy of the Hibernensis.' |
