Notes

Fols 1 and 42–43 of this MS come from an antiphonary with Breton musical notation. However, this is not enough to ascribe this fragment to a Breton scriptorium with sufficient certainty: in fact, the MS may have been written basically anywhere west of Tours (cf. Rankin 2018: 99). Indeed, Bischoff (Kat. §2135) cautiously attributes it to 'vielleicht Nordwestfrankreich.'
