Notes |
NAL 2633 is a miscellaneous codex in which numerous fragments from various manuscripts have been bound together. The fragment in question here is fol. 17, which contains a section of Jerome's letter to Pope Damasus (inc. Nouum opus). In all likelihood, this fragment came from what was originally a Gospel-book. According to Bischoff (Kat. §5156), this folio was written in a scriptorium influenced by the scribal practices of Tours—possibly a scriptorium in Brittany. |
